World of Warcraft Rogue
Guide
Are you the kind of fantasy gamer that
prefers agility over strength? Do you like sneaky tactics
and dwell on the satisfaction of taking out your opponents
without them knowing what hit them? Then read our
World of Warcraft Rogue guide
and learn how to master this character class.
Rouges are fighters of stealth, speed and tricks, and are
similar to and more often synonymous to thieves in the eyes of
many role-playing gamers.
This guide will discuss the basics of the Rouge class in
World or Warcraft. It will discuss the class’ nature and
abilities and will explain why some players prefer particular
kinds of builds for their rouge characters. If you are looking

Who is a Rouge?
Except for the Draenei and Tauren, all classes from under
the Alliance and Horde alignments (in case you don’t know, the
human, dwarf, gnome, night elf, orc, undead, troll, blood elf
race) can become rouges.
While some guides will tell you to look over each of these
races’ traits and decide which suits better the rouge class, it
is a widely known opinion that racial traits play very little
or no role in affecting one’s performance as a rouge. Thus it
would be best if players will let their preference in terms of
races prevail over the little arguable benefits of one race
over another.
Rouges, being classes of strength and speed, are very
reliant to the agility attribute the most, may it be for the
purposes of PvP or PvE. Secondary to that would be stamina. The
rest, while not completely useless, are left to the discretion
of the player.
One of the main features of the rouge class is the Stealth
ability, which is also one of the first major class skills any
rouge player will get. This is like an invisibility skill, but
more proximately defined to make other players and monsters
spot the rouge while under this state, the probability of which
depends on the rouges distance from the target, his position
(front, back, etc.), and his level difference from the
target.
Other notable class abilities that would better explain the
rouge class include Sprint (temporary speed increase) and a
wide variety of stunning and poison skills. Rouges, as an
appropriate accessory to their stealthy nature, can also pick
locks as well as pockets.
All in all, rouges are designed to be incredibly agile and
nimble such that they can deal damage through bursts of
critical strikes, poisons and other skills without getting hit
through the means of stealth, evasion and parry. Naturally,
rouges are not meant to be hit because of their lack of
defense. Logically, their bodies are built for speed and not
endurance.
